Material & Care

All pieces are made from recycled steel bicycle chains.
Because of that, the metal can react to moisture, sweat, and salt over time. This is normal for uncoated steel and part of the material’s nature.

Rust & wear

Steel can rust if it gets wet or stays damp for too long.
If you want to keep your piece looking clean for as long as possible:

• keep it dry

• avoid showering/swimming with it

• wipe it off after a sweaty day

• store it somewhere dry

You can use a little jojoba oil to care for the metal. It helps protect it and slows down rust.

A note from me

Personally, I don’t mind a bit of decay. Some pieces develop a worn, lived-in look over time — and I actually like that. But that’s up to you; you decide how you want to treat it.
